international art workshops by Kata
Who am I…
I’m Kata - a Hungarian artist living by the sea in Spain.
My art is shaped by a lifelong curiosity and a journey through more than 55 countries. I’m endlessly inspired by nature’s rhythms, vibrant colors, shifting light and the stories found in flowers, animals and people.
I paint murals that bring warmth and energy to spaces and I lead art workshops where creativity becomes a shared adventure.
Whether I’m working with watercolor, acrylic or mixed media, my goal is to help others reconnect with their own sense of play, flow and wonder.
I’ve been painting and creating since childhood, which led me to study at the Independent Academy for Free School Teaching in Denmark, where I became an art teacher able to inspire both children and adults.
Art, for me, is a way of celebrating the world.
One brushstroke,
one connection,
one color at a time.
The Art Carousel
An art journey connecting children across cultures.
Started in 2018, The Art Carousel is an ongoing international art project that brings together children from around the world through creativity and color.
So far, it has taken place:
Haahrs School, Svendborg, Denmark
Mitranketan, Vellanad, India
Pushkar Public School, Rajastan, India
Shri Krishna School, Rajastan, India
Ban Koh Jum Public School, Thailand
Ban Koh Pu Public School, Thailand
Escuela Urbana no. 909, Jalisco, Mexico
Through painting, storytelling and shared imagination, children explore how people everywhere celebrate life’s joyful moments - in their own unique ways.
Each series of artworks travels and grows, like a carousel in motion, connecting cultures and spreading smiles across continents.
It all starts with a sketch.
When shall we start the journey?
