🎨 Alebrijes are colorful, imaginative creatures from Mexican art, combining different animals into one unique being. They are playful, expressive and full of personality. There are no limits to what they can become.

In this workshop, you will create your own alebrije from start to finish. We begin with a short introduction to their story, then build the shape of your creature using paper-maché and finally bring it to life with bright colors and detailed patterns. Everyone works on their own piece, guided step by step, while following their own imagination.

The focus is not only on the final result, but on enjoying the creative process and discovering new ideas through making.

I am an artist and art teacher, inspired by travel and hands-on creation. In 2018, I spent 5 months in Mexico learning about alebrijes directly from local artisans. Since then, I have been sharing this experience through workshops, creating a space where people can explore their creativity freely.
